The Government has produced new guidance on the classification of Hazardous Waste. This affects the way that we classify any dangerous or chemical waste that we collect from you. The new Guidance is called Waste Classification and Assessment – Technical Guidance WM3 and comes into force on 1 July 2015.
At this stage you don’t need to do anything, as we will make all the necessary changes to ensure that we are categorising your waste correctly. We may need to contact you shortly if any of your waste needs to be reassessed and you may notice new codes on your documentation.
