TECA is one of Europe’s most modern, energy efficient and sustainability focused event venues. Built with BREEAM accreditation, on-site anaerobic digestion, advanced metering and a strong carbon-reduction agenda, the venue has always aimed to set the standard for environmentally responsible event operations.

To achieve this, TECA relies on a waste and environmental partner capable of handling complex waste streams, supporting ambitious carbon-reduction goals, and providing transparent, data-driven reporting. After working with multiple local and national providers, the venue selected One Stop Waste to support its long-term sustainability strategy.

The Challenge

TECA manages a uniquely diverse and often highly complex waste profile:

• Large scale exhibitions, concerts and conferences.
• International sporting events with World Rally Championships coming soon.

• High volume catering and hospitality operations.
• A commercial requirement to improve recycling performance while maintaining operational efficiency.

Before moving into the new TECA campus, the venue was required to submit a detailed Waste Management Plan to secure accreditation.

This included demonstrating:
