We can provide services for General waste, mixed recycling, food waste, glass, confidential waste, WEEE (waste electrical and electronic equipment), waste oils, hazardous waste and more. We can carry out a review at your site to identify all relevant waste types that you produce.

We are a “Not For Landfill” business meaning we do our utmost to ensure that zero waste is sent to landfill. In fact there are only a few materials that must be sent to landfill. This allows us to provide the majority of our customers with a 100% landfill diversion rate.

Based in Aberdeen, we service a wide area including Peterhead, Fraserburgh, Banchory, Laurencekirk, Montrose and Brechin.

Generally speaking, no. If you have a unique waste type we are happy to find the best disposal route possible.

We send our customers monthly reports detailing each collection that they have received. The report includes a breakdown of how much they have sent away as recycling and how much they sent as general waste etc.

We charge monthly in arrears meaning you will only pay for work that has already been carried out.

Because the legal responsibility for your waste stays with you, your choice of partner directly affects your own compliance. One Stop Waste has been certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 since 2008, audited annually by UKAS-accredited NQA. Together with our SEPA registration, these give you audit-ready evidence that supports your Duty of Care and strengthens your position in tenders.

Yes, the regulations around waste are constantly evolving. You cannot put electrical items, batteries or upholstered furniture into a regular general waste bin. Since 2025, there has also been a ban on sending any biodegradable waste to landfill.

Our dedicated service team, based in our Aberdeen office are on standby to answer any calls or emails that our customers send them. You will also be provided with an account manager to further help meet your needs.

Each of our customers has a bespoke service tailored to their needs meaning there isn’t a one size fits all price. However our smallest wheelie bin service starts from just £5.00 per collection.

We value customer service more than anything. It is important to us that our customers receive the best service possible, should they need an additional collection or a bin repaired we have a dedicated service team on standby ready to help. This may mean that we aren’t the cheapest but we are competitive and ensure our customer receive the best value for their money.

Under UK law, your business is legally responsible for its waste from creation until final disposal — even after it leaves your site. You must ensure it's handled only by licensed carriers and backed by accurate documentation, or risk fines and reputational damage in audits and tenders. As a SEPA-registered waste carrier and broker, we handle every collection compliantly and give you the evidence to prove you've met your obligations.

All of the waste that we collect is taken back to our site in Marywell. From there, each waste stream is processed allowing us to maximise recycling/reuse before being transported to their final disposal locations.

We will carry out a complimentary waste review to ensure that the correct services are in place to keep your waste management compliant. We also provide complimentary waste awareness/recycling training to our customers.

Our site has capacity for 150,000 tonnes of waste. In 2022 only 2/3 of this was used.

We hold all of the necessary licenses and accreditation required to provide you with a compliant waste management service. These can be provided at request.

We can provide any site with a weekly collection and in some areas this can be as often as 5 days per week.

We will collect anything from a single bag of shredding all the way up to a full site clearance.
