In 2007 the Waste Electrical Equipment and Electronic (WEEE) Directive came into force, with the aim of reducing the amount of WEEE produced and encouraging consumers and businesses reuse and recycle and recover electrical equipment. As different types of electrical waste pose different problems, we have developed services to allow the safe handling, collection and onward processing/recycling of all WEEE waste in accordance with current legislation. From small volumes to larger clearances, we have a wide variety of options for the collection and recycling of your WEEE waste.
We currently offer collection and recycling services for:
o Everything from PC's Monitors, Keyboards, Circuit Boards, Cables, Servers and Photocopiers. When required, we can also
carry out a hard drive destruction.
o From kettles and coffee machines to dishwashers and commercial fridges and freezers, we have a range of options to collect
small and large volumes of these items for processing and recycling.
o From household alkaline batteries, all portable batteries to industrial lead acid and lithium batteries, we provide a range of
containers ensuring safe collection and recycling.
o We can supply a range of container options for the safe collection and recycling of Fluorescent Tubes. This allows for onward
recycling of the glass, plastic and metal components as well as the mercury bearing phosphor powder.
Collection of small volumes can be carried out through our Haz Box Service through to truck and bulk services for larger volumes.
